Sharing Coke And A Smile
Okay, here we go on the Coke collection. Now remember that it is 40 something years of collecting
and did not happen over night. This is what my grandkids faces have expressed as their "eye candy" since they first entered grandmas house. This is the bigger stuff, the smaller stuff doesn't show up well. I took these so I could keep them in a seperate file documented so when I am no longer here, the kids will know what they have. These too will be more than one post so I hope I don't bore you:)
Love and Hugs, Laurie

How did your collection start? Where do you find most of your things? Are you still collecting?
I love it, thanks for sharing!!
Happy Valentine's Day! I love you.
Hey Pam,
It started when I was 16 and my older brother was in the Air Force and sent home a Phillipines coke bottle to me with it written in their language. I have it to this day and it really didn't start to grow until I got married at 20 years old. A lot of friends contributed to it through the years when they travelled to other countries and saw something Coke.:)
The boys friends through highschool contributed by taking signs off of buildings in their travels and thinking of me. I picked up things through the years too. Then, I discovered EBAY!!! Yikes, it was like being a kid at Disneyworld!! Yep, I still collect even though the walls are pretty filled up in every room. I have some things on the ceiling:)
So, there you have it. Love you.
Laurie
I LOVE your collection! :o)
Ahhh, I see one of my favorite sleds hanging on your wall, LOL! You wouldn't believe how many kids you can pile on one of those HUGE Coke signs. :oP
I like the passion of your collection. I'm like that w/snowmen...only living in an apartment right now leads to me not enjoying them enough...
Thanks for sharing your 'smile' w/us.
Joy, Debi
Ah, I think I found some stained glass in the entertainment center door, when I clicked on the picture so it got bigger?? I don't know why I have so much trouble finding things! I love your collection in that picture, and figure there is a story about each item or collection, not just Coke things. And who is the baby in the framed picture?
OHHHH. It's a game! Yes, I found one in the door under the Coke Ave sign! Laurie, your work is beautiful!
I'm so slow.... not just my computer!
Wow, what a collection! Very impressive and so fun! Do you have room to add any more? Are you still collecting?
